The module helps us to interconnect a development plaque or any other type of microcontroller to a device that uses RS232.

The module works from 3V to 5V and requires an external power supply. The presence of the power is indicated by a blank LED.

The adapter already has the plug and uses the integrated circuit MAX3232.
