MQ-6 is a highly sensitive gas sensor with a fast response time that is capable of detecting propane, butane, liquefied petroleum gas as well as natural gas in the air.
It is a low-cost sensor that can detect a variety of natural gas and can be used in a wide range of applications, such as gas leakage alarm, portable gas detector etc.
